GoldenGate Interview Question Set-7

My today’s post is very important for those who are looking for a job and preparing for an Interview. GoldenGate is a very hot technology these days. That’s why I am writing GG interview questions.

I hope these IQ will help you.

1)-If you have 50 processes running in a database and you need to change a few things such as password, which should be applicable to all 50 processes, How you will do? 

2)-If column Names are different in source and target, what will you do? 

3)-How to generate DEFGEN file? 

4)-If you have to split EXTRACT, do you need to create replicat or the same one will work?

5)-Scenario:  At 11:00 one transaction is started and not committed. Extract stopped at 11:15 and again extract starts at 11:40 When it will start or at which time extract will take. 

6)-When you split extract, then at what time new extract you should start? 

7)-How to split a replicat ? 

8)-What if replicat is having lag? what we can do? 

9)-If source (GG) is in 19c and target (GG) is lower version 12c what will happen? 

10)-What is Bounded Recovery?
