My today’s post is very important for those who are looking for a job and preparing for an Interview. GoldenGate is a very hot technology these days. That’s why I am writing GG interview questions.

I hope these IQ will help you.

1)-Scenario: App team gave wrong tns and data started moving directly on target instead of source for few tables. Now source and target are not in SYNC. How u will rectify with partial downtime?

2)-Scenario: Source is active and Target got crashed, due to this Pump is not able to write the trail file. What should DBA do? 

3)-If you perform etrollover, what happens?

4)-Why is seqno of a trail file for replicate is different than the pump on the source side?

5)-What are the different methods for Initial Load in GG?

6)-Scenario: There are three tables A, B, C in an extract, By mistake table B got purged from the Target side and the client is not ready to give you downtime for A, C. How you will do? 

7)-What could be the reason that Altering Integrated Extract takes more time as compared to classic extract? 

8)-Steps to set up Integrated Extract Process? 

9)-If you have to drop an extract and Unregister command is getting failed for some reason, what will you do?
