My today’s post is very important for those who are looking for a job and preparing for an Interview. GoldenGate is a very hot technology these days. That’s why I am writing GG interview questions.

I hope these IQ will help you.

1)-If you are in the second shift and want to know what happened since morning (about all operations in GG) how you will check?

2)-Source got crashed and DR is not the updated one, how(at which point) you will start Extract?

3)-If you don’t have a checkpoint table then from where you can check that data has been applied on that particular SCN?

4)-If you have to keep your files out of GG home then which parameter u will use?

5)-Is force logging is required for GG?

6)-How to check a parameter’s description?

7)-Where you can see Process information?

8)-How to recover dirprm, in case we removed by mistake?

9)-If the process is in STARTING state for a long time, what you can do?

10)-What are the main parameters for GG 12c?
